| Im in cali baby!!! its amazing out here, im not gonna lie. hollywood is the largest concentration of freaks in america, i wouldnt recommend visiting unless you get a kick out of seeing guys holding "will work for marijuna" signs who jus sit and rant all day about how much they hate gays and how they would "rather have their children grow up to be pot heads than fags". Across the street theyres a demon possesed guy randomly screaming in front of starbucks, meanwhile a drunk arab is telling me that since im a musician i should walk 7 blocks down to this music store where they will let me "pop out of a box" like a jack in the box it seems is what he meant. i jus smiled and nodded as i quickly started walkin away. Apart from graumans i would equate walking down hollywood blv. to be about as amusing as a trip to pertrivka.
Anyways, its been a blast chillin with the bucks, and i shall be sad to leave. the day i left c-bus i overdrew my account and my bank finally decided to call me after they had already charged me $320 in overdraft fees. i mean are you freaking kidding me???!!!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My friends, prepare yourseves for "Before We Forget". We hope to have our first show by mid october. Its gonna be freaking amazing.
| FOREVER CHANGED IS FREAKING HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, so las nite I saw Signs of the North, Forever Changed, Kids in the Way, and Staple. I'll be honest, I jus did not enjoy any of the other bands besides Forever Changed. Signs of the northwas was ok, the singer has a good voice but the the guitar tones were jus not getn it done, and the drummer was definitely getn his wind up monkey toy game on. Kids in the way sounded solid, but im jus not a huge fan of the singer. I would like to thank Staple for causing me to lose a frequency range of my hearing with their large wall of distortion of which I could not distinguish a single picked note or vocal through. I have seen good hardcore bands play and I have enjoyed them, Staple is not one of them. It is possible to play heavy music and still me melodic and technical, but apparently staple does not know that. I love how on their pure volume site that Staple claims to be "post hardcore". That is blasphemy. If you like them and are offended dont be, im jus a musician entitled to my opinion, I completely respect staple's ministry and I know God is using them, i jus dont like their music very much.
I hung out with the lead guitarist from Forever Changed for most of the show. He had this outrageous effects setup that is like nothing I'ver ever seen that was custom built by this guy with a mullet who lives in a trailer. It consisted of a light controller from the 70's, which all his pedals were on, and that ran in a cable to this huge rack setup with like 3 full size effects processors and more pedals and then into his amp. What can i say, it looked like a total rig but sounded amazing. We got to talk awhile and I got ask him tons of questions about their band and how they recorded their album and cd sales and stuff. It was sweet.
Ok, so im going to take to my drivers test tommorow, like its actually scheduled! Im so happy, I shall finally be free!!!
| Its a miracle. I am updating. I love everyone who actually will notice the fact that im updating and leave nice comments about it. Jus came in from a long nite of jammin with quintana at our house and college group earlier. i need to go to bed so bad, i have no idea why im writing this.
"We begin with concluding remarks,
pick up the pieces and examine the parts"
- Emery
"You have my attention."
- Copeland
"Did you know what you were doing? Did you know?"
- Mae
"Does it get you off?"
- Lovedrug
"Does it make you feel alright?"
- Terminal
"Please don't make me cry"
- Eisley
"It's permanent"
- Acceptance
Dont even ask. Goodnite

| so, obviously, i mean literally, im in sip now. things have been going amazing. God has been showing me so much its crazy.hes clearly shown me a major change in the direction of my life and ministry and im super excited! i've had outrageously bad poison ivy tho, jus went to the doctor for that finally. I went to warped tour last saturday and that was quite a blast. saw a ton of sweet bands, bought more shirts and cds, and got literally like 50 free stickers. I talked to the singer from emery for awhile at the end of the day, hes a baller, and still has a solid south carolina accent goin. lol. Im out to buy steroids for poison ivy.
